Your Most Important Choice

    A lot of you have probably heard John 3:16, heard many Bible stories, maybe even memorized a bunch of verses, but do you know what it all means? Do you know what it means that Jesus died on the cross for your sins? The whole point of this website is to help you answer that question, "Yes."

    Sure, we have some activities and comics, and we try to make this as fun as it can be, but the real reason that we wanted to make this site is so that if you haven't accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior and you can't answer these questions with "yes,"  you will have the chance to learn more about Jesus.  We STRONGLY urge you and your family to read the following so you can learn more about the Scripture Squad's faith, and hopefully make it your own if you haven't already!

Why do I need God?

Ever since Adam and Eve ate the fruit from the forbidden tree in the garden of Eden, all people have sinned, or done wrong against God. We've all sinned.  Lying, cheating, fighting with a brother or sister, not listening to our parents when they care about us- they are all examples of sins. The punishment for our sins is eternity in Hell- a horrible place full of pain and suffering. Without help, our future in eternity is as bad as it can get.

Do we have a chance of getting away from Hell?

Yes, Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price so that we can be with him someday. God came to this Earth as a baby on the first Christmas. He lived a life without sin-something only He can do! He gave up His life on the cross-the worst death ever! He took our sins so that we don't have to go to Hell, but instead go to Heaven and live with Him forever! And He did it all out of love for us! The creator of the universe laid down his life because he loved us-even though we aren't lovable. He then conquered death three days after He was killed!

What do I have to do to be saved by Jesus?

All you have to do to receive God's gift of eternal life is to pray to God this prayer if you truly mean it and believe in your heart what it is saying:

Dear Jesus,
I thank you that you came to Earth to die on the cross for my sins. I'm sorry that I have sinned against you. Please forgive me for my sins. I want to live forever with you in heaven! I accept you as my Lord and Savior. Help me to live my life for you. Amen!

If you truly mean what this prayer says, God will give you eternal life with him! All you need to do is pray this prayer and mean it with all  your heart and you will have made the most important choice of your life! And you know what? You will have made the right choice. Jesus is the only way!
